How to adopt a dog from the municipality shelter:
Anyone who wants to choose a pet can visit the shelter in working hours.
Adoption itself happens during weekdays, after a brief interview with the manager of the shelter.
You have to fill in a declaration for adoption, which can be found on the website of the Veliko Tarnovo municipality.
Adoption is free.
You get neutered, dewormed, vaccinated and chipped pet with a passport.
It is necessary to register the pet in the municipality. You don’t need to pay anything.
The shelter is located along the road between the villages of Shemshevo and Bukovets, take the first exit on the right after the villa zone of Shemshevo.
It is open for visitors from Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 15.00 and on Sunday from 09.00 to 15.00
